The legal form, and why it is on the front page

This practice is an enkeltpersonforetak — a Norwegian sole proprietorship. Advisory websites often blur this, using “we”, “our team” and “the firm” to imply an organisation that does not exist. That is a poor way to start a professional relationship and it fails the most basic test an advertising reviewer applies: does the site describe the business that is actually registered?

So, plainly: there is one principal, Kjetil Stake, entered on the register as innehaver (proprietor) since 2019-02-20. The register records no employees. There is no separate legal personality between the practice and its proprietor, which means liability is personal and unlimited — a fact that works in a client's favour more often than not, and one they are entitled to weigh.

What the register says the practice does

The filed activity is Konsulenttjenester innen ledelse, miljø, eiendom mm. — consultancy services within management, environment and property — under Norwegian activity code 70.200, Bedriftsrådgivning og annen administrativ rådgivning. The four advisory divisions on this site were written to sit inside that code rather than beside it, and each one publishes the point at which it stops.

How the work is done

Engagements begin with description, not diagnosis. The first phase produces an account of how the organisation actually operates — drawn from documents it already produces and from interviews with the people who do the work, rather than from the org chart. Only then is anything redesigned, and the redesign is deliberately the smallest change that removes the problem.

Every phase leaves a written artefact behind, because the test of advisory work is whether it survives the adviser leaving the room. A verbal recommendation that nobody can find in six months was not advice; it was a conversation.

What is deliberately not claimed

There are no client names on this site, no logos, no case studies, no testimonials, and no performance figures. Advisory engagements are confidential by default, and outcome statistics from a practice of this size could not be independently verified even if the confidentiality allowed it. Rather than publish numbers that cannot be substantiated, this site publishes facts that can: the register entries, the activity code, the scope boundaries, and the method.
